I find #languages – pronunciations, nuances, #etymology, et al – fascinating; the #Otherwords #PBS series is right up my alley. & it’s #ADHDFriendly, as the videos are super engaging. #TIL that there’s a distinct connection between the #dialects of Boston, Nu Yawk, the Deep South, all centered around the letter R. Also, this video might help you roll your Rs if that skill escapes you. #adhd #rhotics
UPDATE: the About page is done! I know I’m in serious #hyperfocus mode when I skip my morning leisure reading time and go straight to working on a project. In this case, it’s my almost-finished adhd blog. I have to tighten up the #CSS (ie styles/look/feel), write an About page & welcome post, and optimize the site for performance. It’s not going to get done today, but there will be progress.
I have watched too much #Survivor in my life. It’s a guilty pleasure 🫣. But learning I have #adhd made me realize that I would SUCK at it cuz I can’t play the social game. But how would Survivor go if ALL contestants were #neurodiverse? What if everyone took things literally, had trouble lying, & couldn’t read social cues? There’d be less conniving, less of the stuff the show loves to highlight. But I think there’d be more real cooperation & stuff. It could be quite interesting.
Just spent the last few days switching from #LastPass to #ProtonPass for passwords and #MFA. LastPass’ security f ups are well documented and I don’t trust them. I would’ve switched to Proton Pass sooner had I realized that my paying for #Protonmail included upgraded #password management. The clincher for me: Proton Pass includes #2FA! No more using a separate app, Proton Pass will copy & paste MFA codes too!
