Just spent the last few days switching from #LastPass to #ProtonPass for passwords and #MFA. LastPass’ security f ups are well documented and I don’t trust them. I would’ve switched to Proton Pass sooner had I realized that my paying for #Protonmail included upgraded #password management. The clincher for me: Proton Pass includes #2FA! No more using a separate app, Proton Pass will copy & paste MFA codes too!

It made me wonder how I managed to adult in the minimal capacity I could in my 20s & on – which consisted, tbh, in drinking too much #alcohol (a source of #dopamine & lowered #anxiety). A belated #TuneTuesday as yesterday got away from me. The #FunSong theme made me think immediately of my newest #music obsession, #ElectricCallboy and their song We Got The Moves. It’s a song about partying and they don’t take themselves seriously in the least. 20yo me would likely sneer at ‘commercialism’ or some other nonesuch but 50yo me enjoys the hell out of this.

Just realized that I’ve been able to #workout consistently because when I have the internal ‘Do I really want to work out today’ debate, I do it while feeding the animals. By the time they’ve got food & water, I’ve convinced myself to at least do a shorter workout. Today I’m up a bit late but I’m achy af due to a weekend of yard work. Overall, Proton Pass works more smoothly than Lastpass, which had been feeling clunky over the last year or so (or maybe I noticed more after learning of their bad security practices).
The one thing I wish was that passwords could have tags, or could be added to multiple folders, it’s limited to have a login in just one folder if, for example, I use it for work but I want my wife to also have access in case I’m incapacitated.
