Just finished #debriefing myself after my trip to the allergist and this is part of my #notes.

I’ve been an inveterate note-taker for years and discovered #PKM (Personal Knowledge Management) last year while searching for #ADHD oriented methods of organization & productivity.

That led me to the amazing #Obsidian app (which is shockingly free for being fully featured), which took my note-taking to another level.

I do gain some satisfaction from creating informative visuals 🙂

Hi, I’m Arp! I got diagnosed with ADHD at 49, and now I'm trying to figure out what's me, what's masking, and just about everything else. I make comics (when imposter syndrome isn't striking) and write about life as a creative Indian-American. I’m self-taught, self-employed, and self-flagellating.

More Notes & Asides

Every 10-14 days I have a night where I get 3-4h of #sleep. I wonder if it’s triggered by stress or what (I have an 8am doc appt and decent sleep was a must). Mostly I wish I could sleep through the night more consistently, this has gotta be an adhd thing.

Time to catch up on the #Eurovision semis after a ridiculously busy week! Unlike last year I’ve only listened to each song once so the performances are going to be like new songs for me, except for #Croatia (the only melody that stayed in my head).

There's nothing like having the #motivation to do something and then running into repeated unexpected issues that suck the motivation right out of you.

I wish all of my technology would just fucking work consistently so I can focus on figuring out my processes for productivity instead of troubleshooting something that was working fine 2 days ago 🤬🤬🤬

Gotta hand it to #landlords, somehow important shit like ACs & fridges break down only on holiday weekends.

Just spent the last few days switching from #LastPass to #ProtonPass for passwords and #MFA. LastPass’ security f ups are well documented and I don’t trust them. I would’ve switched to Proton Pass sooner had I realized that my paying for #Protonmail included upgraded #password management. The clincher for me: Proton Pass includes #2FA! No more using a separate app, Proton Pass will copy & paste MFA codes too!

Just writing this stresses me the f out 😖 I’m pushing myself far out of my comfort zone, to pursue something I’ve long wanted, that I think I can do well – but have been frozen by #anxiety, #ImposterSyndrome, & #RejectionSensitiveDysphoria. I’m gonna record myself singing for the #GreenDay Cover Project, deadline next Tuesday 3/15 at midnight.

  1. @ArpComics Obsidian is frickin awesome.

Also, I haven’t used it in 4+ months because I’ve been so fixated on work that I completely forgot journaling is a thing I like to do.

    Sigh. #ADHD 😂
