O M G this looks emotional and compelling. The first movie blew my mind so much that I didn’t even notice that #MilesMorales did not have his tragedy yet. Not only does the #animation look gorgeous but now the whole chased by the League of Spider-people (I just made that up AND said it in Lucas Lee’s voice) thing makes more sense. Looks like this one will live up to the first #movie (which I saw 3x in the theatre) and I MUST see it in #IMAX again. Interestingly, YouTube served up the #Indian #trailer for me first and there are some HUGE differences compared to the US version. They focused completely on drama, with a couple of laughs thrown in. No mention of The Spot. And tied it into the live action movies to clue newcomers in. They know what sells in #Bollywood! Here we go again: the common #adhd morning dilemma of ‘Have I taken my meds or not?’ Thanks to my lovelyshort term #memory, I have to piece together my morning and see where I deviated from The Sequence of Things, because any deviation can make me forget a step. (this need for a specific order of actions makes me wonder how far along the spectrum I might be).

This isn’t #adhd specific but it is a quote that really smacked me upside the head. It made me realize that I didn’t mind sucking at a lot of activities I’ve enjoyed. I welcomed the process of getting better – or not getting better, because sometimes things are just plain fun. And if sucking at it isn’t appealing, then I guess it’s not for me. This has proven pretty damn accurate. The source – #BrianMcDonald – is many things (writer, director, producer) all built around his skill in #storytelling. He’s written some excellent #books on #writing as well – #InvisibleInk is one I highly recommend. My favorite place to glean some #wisdom from him is his #podcast ‘You Are A Storyteller’ (where I heard this #quote). He talks a lot about movies but his explanations for why this or that #story works/doesnt work has helped me write better #stories. #meme ...
Any #AppleiPad users notice an increase in weird little issues in the past few months? I’ve happily used a 2018 iPad Pro for the last 5 years but in the last few months there have been repeated weird issues. The iPad has always been rock solid until now, so I’m wondering if a recent iPadOS update messed things up (either intentionally or unintentionally by Apple) or if it’s just me. It’s definitely not a storage issue as I’ve got over 250gb (out of 512gb) free.
