I’m still obsessed with #Mastodon, the #Fediverse, and the possibility of a better internet. So I added a bunch of #IndieWeb features to my new site.

Sooooooo I stopped taking my #ADHD meds almost 2 weeks ago. I was feeling less & less motivated over time and running more on autopilot; I realized that happened slowly over the last 2 years. Without the #adderall my mind is a lot fuzzier, my #timeBlindness is raging, and my short-term #memory is Fd – but I also feel happier and more present. The only negative is I actually get irritated and/or crabby now, but it’s on me to be aware of my feelings.

In other news, I spent an hour messing with a new color scheme for my #website last night. This is the 3rd color palette that I’ve used and I suspect it won’t be the last 😆 And I know that there are a LOT of colors, & that I can get rid of some of them. But #minimalism is not natural to me. Pretty sure this all relates to #adhd in some fashion 🤔

teenage engineering ep 1320
This thing is ridiculous AND I MUST HAVE IT. I’ve long wanted a hardware sampler and the #TeenageEngineering –133 k.o.2 caught my attention for being feature-packed while being usable with batteries to reduce friction. But a version with #medieval #samples takes the cake! Years back I was really into #AgeOfEmpires and #Civilization so I’m tempted to use this to make a soundtrack for the different parts of my life (like when discovering agriculture or when I want to stab a neighboring principality in the back). Right now, I’m doing something I thought I’d never do in my life: drink decaffeinated #coffee. I learned quickly that #Vyvanse + coffee = Jitters From Hell so I’ve avoided coffee these 3 weeks. That royally messed up my morning routine, which included blending 30g of protein into my coffee, which prevents me from getting stupid hangry mid-morning and resorting to eating anything I can get my hands on. I’m glad to say it doesn’t taste like watered down coffee 😂 #ADHD #AuADHD

zebisko in the house!
Finally found a pic of my all-time favorite #Halloween#costume: a Generic Bad Guy from a #1970s#Bollywood masala film! I was most definitely named ‘Zebisko’ (my favorite bad guy name, ever, from one of my favorite movies ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’), thrifted the green polyester jacket & red 70s tux shirt, and sadly did not grow the #fumanchu (it’s fake hair & spirit gum). I wish I still had that polyester jacket 🙁 #FunFact: Masala films blend multiple genres into one movie: action, romance, comedy, drama, and – of course – musicals; the best were made in the late #70s and early #80s. #Films are usually 3h long so you get your money’s worth and there is literally something for everybody. Pointless sidenote: people wore #bellbottoms in India throughout the 80s, and as late as 1994 I met a guy in the Bombay airport who dressed like Neil Diamond from the 70s ...
