Every 10-14 days I have a night where I get 3-4h of #sleep. I wonder if it’s triggered by stress or what (I have an 8am doc appt and decent sleep was a must). Mostly I wish I could sleep through the night more consistently, this has gotta be an adhd thing.

Just writing this stresses me the f out 😖 I’m pushing myself far out of my comfort zone, to pursue something I’ve long wanted, that I think I can do well – but have been frozen by #anxiety, #ImposterSyndrome, & #RejectionSensitiveDysphoria. I’m gonna record myself singing for the #GreenDay Cover Project, deadline next Tuesday 3/15 at midnight.

My final #Eurovision rankings, in order: My top 3 The best of the rest OK songs elevated by the performers Mediocre songs elevated by the performers Songs save by at least one kickass synth sound (ie they suck otherwise) Forgettable songs that sound like ripoffs of other songs (like Loreen’s ‘winner’) & performances that fell flat Songs that were just plain BAD And finally: the two worst entries of Eurovision 2024

We need more focus on ‘collective intelligence’ vs individual genius. Encouragement of collaboration & cross-pollination. Being around other creatives, in varied disciplines, is meaningful for the growth of one’s own #creativity. I recognize now that I lacked creative peers for most of my life so I was always flying solo, not getting ideas from others nor getting any useful feedback. It is AMAZING what catching up on #sleep can do for #MentalHealth. 3 days ago I was struggling, this morning I woke up refreshed and ready to jump back on all the horses I’ve ignored for 2w. #Sleep is the first domino of #selfcare that #ADHD-ers need to take care of. Gathering data and using technology has helped me to get back on track. When I looked at my sleep data for the month (see image), I saw how spotty sleep affected how I felt. The 2nd week was so bad that motivation cratered; I had to use last week to get my sleep back on track. I use two #iOS #apps for this: #AutoSleep (the screenshot source) and #RiseApp (it calculates #CircadianRhythms, the best times to sleep & wake, and tracks sleep debt). 3 nights of 8.5h of sleep caught me up, and I did it by going to ...
