I could have finished my adhd blog last night (I just had to finish optimizing performance) but … I wasn’t totally thrilled with the colors and their use. Which led to a #rabbithole on UX (user experience), colors in websites & apps, and messing around with a plethora of color palette generators & tools (many of which were new to me and super cool). This prolly led to today’s insomnia as I hyperfocused & missed my melatonin window (at least that’s one theory I have for my shitty sleep).
Gotta hand it to #landlords, somehow important shit like ACs & fridges break down only on holiday weekends.
#Merchize’s support tries, sorta. But they suffer from the same issues that plague most #Asian nations who provide support to American customers: The last point I confirmed when working with some #Indian web devs year back. One day I asked them to change the color of text on a page to white, which they proudly did – except the background of the page was white 🤦🏽♂️ In any case: Merchize support tries but they use #Facebook or a #chatbot on their website for support. They do not have a ticketing system, and thus they repeatedly ask me questions I answered days before. It’s just half-assed. They try, but they’re going through the motions.

I remember the day #KurtCobain died so clearly. It was April 5, 1994; I was a senior at #NorthwesternUniversity. I had no classes that day. I woke up, showered, and put on combat boots, brown linen pants, black t shirt & my #SocialDistortion Skelly hat. (Why I recall my outfit I have no idea.) I heard on the radio that they ‘found a body’ in Cobain’s house & didn’t think much of it. I figured somebody had OD’d and maybe it was him – but prolly not because he should be happy with his phenomenal success, no? I walked over to a friends’ apartment. We were hanging out & drinking MGD when the real news came out. We were stunned. I have no recollection what the rest of the day was like, what we talked about or anything.
