One of the hardest parts of being an #entrepreneur with #adhd is needing some positive feedback (aka #dopamine) to helo follow through on complex #projects. I can break things down into a zillion steps and chip away, but pouring everything in without getting anything back makes each subsequent step harder & harder. I recently fulfilled a lifelong dream by running all the way, in the wrong direction, on a people mover in an #airport. When I was a kid I felt too self-conscious but not anymore 😆 I didn’t record the run (I just wanted to enjoy it) but the video has some outtakes, including my kid who had never been on a people mover before. Sometimes #adhd impulsiveness is good for a quick little bonding experience with a kid 🙂 (I did however wait til it was not in use before the run.) #DreamsComeTrue
This thing is ridiculous AND I MUST HAVE IT. I’ve long wanted a hardware sampler and the #TeenageEngineering –133 k.o.2 caught my attention for being feature-packed while being usable with batteries to reduce friction. But a version with #medieval #samples takes the cake! Years back I was really into #AgeOfEmpires and #Civilization so I’m tempted to use this to make a soundtrack for the different parts of my life (like when discovering agriculture or when I want to stab a neighboring principality in the back).
