This is fascinating, especially if you’re into #lofi music & sounds. Now I’m tempted to buy a VCR just for recording & mucking up #audio (this will be done in my non-existent free time 😆).
How much do you want to bet that #BoardsOfCanada did this years ago?

Is there any interest in a series of #WordPress / #GeneratePress / #WooCommerce #videos where I build a print-on-demand #merch site from scratch? I always want to share what I know but the lack of time usually puts the kibosh on it.

In other news, I spent an hour messing with a new color scheme for my #website last night. This is the 3rd color palette that I’ve used and I suspect it won’t be the last 😆 And I know that there are a LOT of colors, & that I can get rid of some of them. But #minimalism is not natural to me. Pretty sure this all relates to #adhd in some fashion 🤔
#TIL #BootsyCollins did NOT play the #bass line in ‘Groove Is In The Heart’ 🤯🤯🤯. It’s a sample from the #HerbieHancock track ‘Bring Down The Birds’ played by #RonCarter (who I wanted to take a class with during my short stint at #CUNY). #sampling #paulthompson #Deee-lite #Music #90s
O M G this looks emotional and compelling. The first movie blew my mind so much that I didn’t even notice that #MilesMorales did not have his tragedy yet. Not only does the #animation look gorgeous but now the whole chased by the League of Spider-people (I just made that up AND said it in Lucas Lee’s voice) thing makes more sense. Looks like this one will live up to the first #movie (which I saw 3x in the theatre) and I MUST see it in #IMAX again. Interestingly, YouTube served up the #Indian #trailer for me first and there are some HUGE differences compared to the US version. They focused completely on drama, with a couple of laughs thrown in. No mention of The Spot. And tied it into the live action movies to clue newcomers in. They know what sells in #Bollywood! Finally found a pic of my all-time favorite #Halloween#costume: a Generic Bad Guy from a #1970s#Bollywood masala film! I was most definitely named ‘Zebisko’ (my favorite bad guy name, ever, from one of my favorite movies ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’), thrifted the green polyester jacket & red 70s tux shirt, and sadly did not grow the #fumanchu (it’s fake hair & spirit gum). I wish I still had that polyester jacket 🙁 #FunFact: Masala films blend multiple genres into one movie: action, romance, comedy, drama, and – of course – musicals; the best were made in the late #70s and early #80s. #Films are usually 3h long so you get your money’s worth and there is literally something for everybody. Pointless sidenote: people wore #bellbottoms in India throughout the 80s, and as late as 1994 I met a guy in the Bombay airport who dressed like Neil Diamond from the 70s ...
