This is an INCREDIBLE little #film. I love #stopmotion #animation (#Laika > #Pixar, all day every day and twice on Sunday). It’s so real and tangible, with a sense of space, depth, and light that CGI just can’t capture. But I didn’t know how bad-ass #fighting in stop-motion could be. #GodzillaMinusOne lived up to the hype. In the first 10 minutes I thought it might be the best opening of any #Gojira #film but by the end it became The Best Godzilla #Movie Ever. Most #kaiju #movies focus on the action and other cool stuff but this one made him terrifying on a human level. I got jolted repeatedly when he attacked, it felt so visceral. The bar has been reset, and I’m dying to see what comes next.
