the primevals 2023
I started watching #ThePrimevals last night and it is an AWESOME BLAST FROM THE PAST! The #stopmotion #animation is exquisite and everything about the production – the shots, the blocking, the color grading – feels like a #film made before 1982. And it’s a straight up B #movie with tacky dialogue and bad acting. I’m looking forward to watching the rest, apparently the story gets batshit crazy.

This is an INCREDIBLE little #film. I love #stopmotion #animation (#Laika > #Pixar, all day every day and twice on Sunday). Just shared this with my kids. It is good to know how long political things take when it seems like nothing is happening. It took Biden & his team 6 months to get through Mike Johnson’s skull. Politics & diplomacy are delicate processes and things are rarely as simple as we wish. This was simple vs how complex & multifaceted the situation with Israel, Iran, et al is. This is also why experience matters.
