Questions regarding #webmention & #Mastodon replies:

Does it only sync replies to a toot that has a link in it? In my brief testing today I noticed that of the 3 comments I made to this toot, only the 2 that were direct replies to the OP were synced back to #WordPress.

Also: is it possible to alter the incoming webmentions? It would be cool if there were a way to strip hashtags that are not in a sentence (ie the ones at the ends of toots).

I stopped taking #Adderall daily 3w ago because I wasn’t sure it was really making a big difference. I had skipped it unintentionally a couple of days in the month prior and didn’t notice, which is what got me thinking about stopping. Instead of the XR I now have the regular kind for use as needed, so I had one yesterday and was pretty productive and focused over the course of the afternoon. But I fucking woke up at 5:30 and couldn’t go back to sleep. The stuff is not going to be very useful if it fucks with my sleep and worsens my symptoms the following day 😑 #adhd

I remember the day #KurtCobain died so clearly. It was April 5, 1994; I was a senior at #NorthwesternUniversity. I had no classes that day. I woke up, showered, and put on combat boots, brown linen pants, black t shirt & my #SocialDistortion Skelly hat. (Why I recall my outfit I have no idea.) I heard on the radio that they ‘found a body’ in Cobain’s house & didn’t think much of it. I figured somebody had OD’d and maybe it was him – but prolly not because he should be happy with his phenomenal success, no? I walked over to a friends’ apartment. We were hanging out & drinking MGD when the real news came out. We were stunned. I have no recollection what the rest of the day was like, what we talked about or anything. Do I really need to make reminders to myself for fun stuff?

One aspect of #adhd that’s irritating af is forgetting to do the things I want to do for fun. I don’t need to keep the not-fun stuff I do in my head so it can stay in a task manager but do I really need to make reminders to myself for things like ‘Read for fun while drinking coffee?’ 🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️ #ADHDer #AdultADHD #ADHDLife

We watched the 2000 #Xmen movie last night. The technology was a bit dated, as expected. The cgi was pretty good for the era, but I really wish they’d used a character besides Toad, who I find gimmicky. The story holds up, and holds up a mirror too. I always liked that they went straight for using the Mutant Registration Act as the main storyline instead of an origin tale. Has X-men historically appealed to LGBTQ comic lovers who could relate to their struggles for acceptance? The protests & attitudes against mutants also made me think of the trans community today, and the genocide the GOP & their fascist kin are attempting with all their laws, dog whistles, and stochastic terrorism. The #movie feels quaint, compared to modern times where these people do much, much worse than protest with signs. #movies #comics #comicbooks

Tomorrow is Day 28 on #Vyvanse, and it’s been a promising time. Not necessarily due to the Vyvanse, though it’s better than #Adderall, #Concerta, or #Strattera for me. Definitely smoother and more ‘in the background’ than other #adhd meds (if they even worked for me), with the only downside being not being able to tolerate much #caffeine while it’s active or I get far beyond jittery. More importantly, it’s been 15 days since I spoke to a new therapist, after a 10 day emotional rollercoaster that was kicked off by a song I hadn’t heard since childhood. I opened up to a therapist for the first time, after previously holding back the stuff I wanted to avoid with multiple therapists. But after the rollercoaster I was on, I just had to let it out. The day after this therapy session, 99% of my #brainfog disappeared, and my executive dysfunction vastly ...
